depends how you do them....
sumo trains more legs/hips, regular form trains more lower back, although hips, glutes, etc are not far behind...
also depending on how far you squat to pick up the weight...if you barely squat down...then you'll place more emphasis on your back.....
I like to do deadlifts first in my back workouts...it's a compound exercise that takes a lot out of you so I'd like to have it separate from squats...another very exhausting exercise...however some others like to do them on their leg workouts....bear in mind that I do deadlifts in my back workouts and Stiff legged deadlifts in my hamstring(leg) workouts......it depends on your volume, intensity, how quickly your body recovers, personal preference, and many other factors.....I suggest you try both ways to see what works for you best...
