I try to do them right but it seems that i'm not doing such a good job at it yet. some guys come up 2 me and are like what the fu** are you doing man.. you'll injure your back right that..
the problem is that everybody has his own theory when it comes 2 deadlifts and some have suggested forgetting about it all together... they say doing hyperextensions is a better solution to avoid back problems later on. Others believe wearing a belt is no good not just 4 this 1 but 4 all exercises...
I can talk forever bout this but I think I'll just leave it 2 that.

Good point..

yes people have their own theory when it comes to deadlifts.. that is te PROBLEM! There is only one way to do them correctly.. plain and simple.

I agree with Arnold, there is only one correct way to perform the lift. With a long history of lower back problems I have to do several warm up sets with very low weight to get focused on the form before loading up. The deadlift is one of the easiest ways to mess up the lower back if done incorrectly.

I have to agree with Arnold and Festus. Deadlifts when done right are very anabolic and release lots of growth hormone. :l) It is hard to beat this power movement.
