I'd appreciate any thoughts on my current diet. I'm 180 and want to lose fat and gain muscle. Train alternate nights - one with weights other running. Any help much appreciated.
Oatmeal 1/2 cup
1/2 cup milk
tbl pb

2 scoops whey

tuna
cc
tortilla
low fat cheese
apple

tuna
rice cake

2 scoops

chicken breast
spinach
cottage cheese

2 scoops b4 bed

This is ballpark most days but is starting to get a little boring. Thanks guys.

Looks pretty healthy and a good dose of protein in each meal. How does it compare to what ft suggests (i.e. calories, protein, carbs and fat)?

I seem miles off the carb and calorie totals but protein is there or there abouts. Any thoughts?

Well, if you want to increase your carbs and cals, you'll have to eat more calorie-rich foods such as pasta, potatoes, yams, wild rice, etc. The protein (and EFAs from fish) looks pretty decent, but if you need a boost, add another protein shake or lean meats to your diet. Bodybuilders love their steak!

Good luck!

Try eating more chicken or beef, real food. You already consume 6 scoops of whey. As far as carbs, your body will let you know if you are not eating enough of them, you will get tired.(sweet potatos and greens). just my two cents worth. sean.......
