I've been lifting for a while and am down to 11.6% body fat.
I also have trying to gain lean muscle with eating right and with protein shakes/bars, etc.. I have toyed with the idea of using Creatine but heard that because of the volumizing effect that it has on your muscles that when you stop using it, but still keep working out, that you would lose size. Is this true?

Yep, its true. I cycle creatine (3-4 months on, 2 weeks off) and I usually lose about 4lbs the 2 weeks I'm off creatine. But, when I start up again, my strength skyrockets.
Creatine helps keep water in the muscle cells, obviously adding to the cells' overall volume. When you stop taking creatine, the additional water isn't retained by the cell anymore. That's why you lose size.

Thanks for the info. Are there any other supplements that can or will help with putting on size?

EAT!!! Load up on the carbs and protein - that should be first and foremost. I wouldn't even worry about supplements until you have a good diet. All the supplements I take are with a well-balanced diet. Without the diet, supplements aren't going to work the same.

If you have a good diet already, L-glutamine and creatine are great for mass. Meal replacement shakes (Myoplex, LeanBody, etc) taken between solid-food meals are another excellent way to increase your daily protein and calories. Supplements like HMB, ectdysterone, methoxyisoflavone, etc also work very well, but aren't neccessary to begin bulking up. After a few months of solid training, go ahead and try other supplements.

Maybe try the Creatine serum, i tried it and it worked without the water retention.
