ok so im about to incorporate creatine into my diet. just want to know what i should be doing differently to maximise its benefits once i consume it. i know that taking it reduces the amount of time i need to rest in between workouts? does this mean i go to the gym 7 days a week instead of just 4? do i aim to lift heavier weights with lower reps?

my aim is just to get bigger and stronger

would appreciate any advice, thanks

Alot of misinformation in this posst^^^^. Creatine is not magic, it simply ups your ATP, which will add some explosiveness. Will help with hydration, as it is a cell volumizer and thus draws more water into the cell. You do not and should not go to the gym more often, you have to know your recovery threshold. Creatine will not increase this to any measurable extent.

k thanks - one more thing. how much weight can i expect to gain per kg of body weight provided that i maintain my high calorie diet? i read in this other post that some guy managed to gain 8kg in just two weeks. is this even possible? im guessing maybe he already weighed loads so as a proportion of his body weight it may have been a relatively small gain. i know its mostly water weight but its still quite significant

Edwardj, be cautious when taking creatine. It is known to cause breast formation in men, hair loss and most importantly a REDUCTION in the size of the penis. my advice is to keep away from this substance. A friend of mine went from 6 inches to 2. Your choice

Holly Mother god! That better not be true! and how does creatine make you loose hair after all one of it's very basic substance is Torrine no ? and as far as I'm concerened Torrine grows hair faster. hmmm...

I may be totally wrong on this, That's my conclusion.

r3wt....I guess sometimes it doesn't work to be fecitious. For us who know better, we simply take it as a joke and laugh accordingly. We fail to take in the idea that a newbie may not know this. It was a joke. :)
