is creatine a steroid? and if not can i still take it while i weight train for football?:dumbbell:

Creatine is not a steroid but you don't need it at this point....at 14... you have not had significant experience with serious weight lifting....nor are other aspects of your fitness in order....like nutrition, cardio, etc..
creatine should only be taken after serious...weight training and good diet....
if you continue to train several times a week for next couple of years...then perhaps it will be of more use to you at 17-18....then it would be at this stage....also it's a type of supplement which you must continue to take or else you lose all the strength gains...and lose the water weight u gained....
