Would eating chicken fajitas made from your home be fattening or bad? Also what about those taco bell chicken fiesta bowls?

If you use grilled skinless chicken breasts, lots of veggies and whole wheat tortilla, you should be ok. As for the Taco Bell.....not a good idea....of course it depends on your calories, fats etc. goals. But just for your info, a Zesty Chicken Border Bowl (beans, chicken, fiesta salsa, lettuce, red strips, rice, three cheese blend and zesty dressing) has 730 cal. 42g fat, 65g carbs and 23g protein. Since it's made with white rice and full fat cheese and dressing, I'd stay away from it. Also, if you absolutley MUST eat fast food I would check the websites of the ones you frequent the most. Almost all of them list the nutritional value of all of their menu items. That way you can figure out what you want before you get there, and make necessary sustitutions when you order. Hope that helps!

Ok thanks for the heads up. Im not a big fan of just plain chicken and I was wondering if I could make it like that (the way I like it).

Here is a low fat chicken idea that is really tasty. Boil your chicken breasts until they fall apart. Drain, but save some of the broth, and let cool. Shred the chicken into a large nonstick pan or skillet, add some chopped onion and canned chopped green chiles, salt and pepper. Add enough of the broth to keep the chicken moist, but not watery. Now add some red chile paste. You find it in the mexican section at the grocery. It's not enchilada sauce, it is thicker and that is why you need to have some of the broth on hand to add back in. I usually throw in a few shakes of Tabasco too. Once it is warmed through put on a whole wheat tortilla with some fatfree or reduced fat cheddar cheese. These are really good and not hard to make at all. I use about a half a cup per tortilla. If you make a big batch with 4 or 5 breasts, you can freeze some of it for later too.
