Due to a recent lower back injury, i have been advised to back-off on the running and switch to eliptical and bikes (stationary). I try to do this for about 20 - 30 min.
I am wondering what a good goal for RMP's or speed is. I know it is vagues, but any input would be helpful.
The speed on stationary bikes is pretty much fiction and bears no relation to the speed you would do on a real bike, as for the elliptical, I have no idea.
Do you have a heart rate monitor, or could you use RPE to get an idea of the equivalent intensity workout compared to your running?
