yes; I here ya, I get the same feelings from time to time.
I will eat a power bar, MRB or something light. This also gives me a little needed energy to carry me thru....................
Even more so; I need to eat after my work-outs, my hunger system is screaming like a bear that cant reach a bowl of honey.

Can anyone give me some advise on this? I am 24yr old working mom. I work Mon-Fri 9-5 and I do at least 30-60 min cardio exercise everyday. I just don't know if it's a good thing to have dinner right before I workout. By the time I get settled and done preparing dinning in the evening it's 7:30. At that time I have dinner. I know some people say it's not good to eat a late dinner. but is it ok to have dinner first and then work out right after? this is the way I have been doing it for the past 5 months. I have not had any problems with this. but does it affect my workout? when I was going to the gym a trainer once told me that I should not eat for up to an hour after cardio work out. Because at the time my body is burning fat. so this is why I choose to have dinner first and then I won't have to worry about eating too late. or eating for that hour after workout. can anybody give be there advise on this? Is there anything wrong with eating dinner and then doing cardio after? Thanks

This is old school. You need to work out before dinner if you can. You need to relax for about an hour after you eat. Your iner system works very hard to process a meal (lots of blood is being pumped thru your iner system to process the food)Just do dinner when you get done-nothing wrong with eating later. Its also alot more comfortable to do cardio when your a little hungry.

I've tried not to, but I absolutely have to eat about an hour before I work out or I get dizzy and shaky. I've lost weight and inches doing this though...

I tried to eat before my work out a couple of times and was lethargic, BIG TIME!!! I now have a Myoplex shake or bar, or an apple with peanut butter or something else light before my workout. It is just this week that I am coming home hungry! AND I do MEAN HUNGRY!!! I hardly have the energy after my workouts to cook so I have some lowfat cheese, eggs, turkey breat, already cooked chicken breast etc.
