can cardio and work out be done on alternate days?? or should be done on the same day?

Yes, weight lifting and cardio can be done on alternate days. If you do decide to do both of them on the same day try separating them 6-8 hours apart, or do your weight lifting, followed by light cardio.

always lift before cardio if you do them in the same time period
