I think as a general rule, if your trying to cut, try not to eat at all after 8pm. If you are going to have something, try and have something higher in protien than carbs.
I usually have a protien shake, or some Cottage cheese in the evenings when I can't fight the cravings (well on good days that is! lol)
i dont mind a slow digesting carb but as a rule i stay away from them as much as possible from my dinner and late snack....avoid sugar(simple carbs) no matter what
