I am 32 years, old 5 2" tall, and weigh 115 pounds. I want to lose 15 pounds I have a very small frame and look chunky at this weight. I have been eating 1200 calories a day and doing 90 minutes of cardio and twenty minutes of lifting concentrating on one body part per day 6 day's a week, on the seventh day I do 2 hours of cardio. I have been doing this for a whole year I eat very clean 6 to 7 small meals complex carbs, lean protein, and healthy fat. I haven't lost one pound in fact I recently gained two pounds when I bumped my calories up to 1,400. Can anyone help? I am getting frustrated and deperate.

You might have gained muscle and lost fat, they say to change your cardio every so often so your body doesnt get accustomed to it and adapts and wont burn fat calories, you might have been dropping water weight instead of fat.1,400 is little to survive on if you ask me.:(

You can estimate your bodyfat % here on FT at http://freetrainers.com/FT/jsp/CalculatorsBodyFat.jsp

My guess is that you have lost fat and just replaced it with mass, but you can also change your diet up and try carb cycling if you haven't already.

one more thing, it sound to me like you are overtraining. i thought any workout lasting over 60 minutes is actually catabolic(Deteriorates muscle tissue) because it increases cortisol levels which makes your body burn muscle for energy.

Forget the scale and tell me if you have lost any inches?!!

Why that much cardio? Your body must be starving.... :surprised:
