hi i want to know if you can like gain 6lbs in one day?
cuz thats wats my machine's telling me! i didnot think it was possible to gain 6lbs in one day specaily if you are fasting as i am. help please!!!

Yes. It is. It all depends what you eat and such. It's not unusual to weigh 'X' pounds in the morning and the weigh 'X+5' pounds after supper. Think about it... you've eaten all day, drank all day... some of it's still in there... Now, since you're fasting, you must be consuming water, so it might be a lot of water weight. Plus, the body weight naturally fluctuates, I believe.

Don't follow the scale. It's not completely accurate. It's a good gauge on a weekly or monthly basis, but I wouldn't base my progess on it daily.

oh we cant drink water either when we fast. so from 5:00am in the mornring to 7:00pm at night i dont eat or drink. but even then in the morning the scale says 149 and in the evening it would read like 169

huh? 20 lb diff?...you're doing something wrong or the scale is broken or it needs to be adjusted(make sure it starts at 0)...

usually large weight fluctuations are a result of water retention by the body...

what is the nature of the fast? (medical, religious, etc)

religious, and its a digital scale so its does start at zero. i changed the batteries this morning and its still doing the same thing* :(
