Can I go to the gym while sick with flu?

This is my first week with ft and now i have the flu. I want to know if i can still go to gym in this condition:(

No, stay home and get well. Also spare the rest of us from it. Great dedication but stay home.

You don't have the flu if you want to go to the gym!

When I had it in the winter I was out for 2 to 3 weeks.

ive worked out pretty sick before its not fun.having to take a break just to blow a snot rocket. one week off wont hurt you to bad. when you have the flu energy levels are low. you could even be risking injury. then you could be out for even longer.

Why would you want to? YOur body needs all its recouperative powers to overcome the flu. Adding the 'trauma', yes it is trauma of an intense workout to your bodies defenses will simply delay your return and may well make things much worse. Use common sense here, the gym will be there when you get well.
