How do I determine how many calories I need on a daily basis? Isn't it some big number, minus your weight, times your height, plus your eye color, divided by your blood type? Or something like that? :)

I was wondering the same thing. There is a section under ft Nutrition Resources at the top, under specialized goals where you put your goal in and it tells you how many calories you should be eating. It told me 2065. That seems like WAY too much for me. I was told by a trainer friend to keep my calories to 1300. That is quite a difference. 1300 leaves me low in energy with all of the excercise I'm getting. I'm 155 lbs. @ 5'8.

We are about the same weight/height. I'm 5'7" / 157 lbs. And yes that seems like waaaay too many calories. I've seen a few diet plans recently in magazines that I want to follow but they are for 1800, 1600, and 1300 calories and I wasn't sure which one I should follow. 1300 sounds a little low. Hopefully someone knows and will post. I checked the site for the formula but no luck. :0(
