Hi there:

I don't know if I have something weird going on or if I just over worked my legs. Last week I started increase the amount I walk per day. Instead of 5kms I was doing 10-15kms per day from Monday to Thursday. Thursday when I was walking my calves were very tight and burny..I just figured that I had over done it. I didn't walk Friday, Sat, or Sunday and when I walked this morning they were the same way. I even did my warm up b4 I started. Any ideas if they are still recovering or if I have something else going on?

This sounds normal, no-pain-no-gain'. Try streatch-n alot more after your walks.

haha i remember when i started out i had strength shoes which are basically high heels with out the heel. and i ran around the block a few timees and i couldnt feel it. when i took off those shoees i couldnt take a step without my calve crampingg up i ended up staying home the next day from school. i couldnt walk. so i guess there really is a point where you can over do it but i dont think youve reached it
