5 months ago I weighed 150lbs(I am 5'9"). I have been on and off to the gym, I get toned but never any bulk. Then a few months ago, I was back at the gym, but started eating like a pig in order to bulk up. I ate many full meals(fatty stuff etc.) and also had the "weight gainers 2200" formula everyday. As a result I gained 10 Lbs. I was happy but seems like my gut also got bigger. So I stopped eating heavy and went back to smaller meals.
Starting today I have singed up with a fitness insturctor. Question is: How do I bulk up without adding pounds in the wrong places? I am currently 160, but look pretty skinny. Has my meal intake have to increase in calories gradually? Any advise is appreciated.
