My #1 Goal is to get big. I want huge arms and chest. But not seeing my abs pisses me off. I really want to cut down my stomach too, but its a distant 2nd priority.

Everything stresses how you must have lots of calories to build muscle. I wanna lose body fat, but im afraid of burning muscle.

Any advice?

Yes....first 'bulk up'....by eating 500-800 calories on top of your maintenance.....do this for few months.......

then go on a 'cutting' phase...where you start cutting calories 200-300 calories every couple of months and increasing cardio...

you can't do both naturally...

remember to eat clean for both phases

on bulking phase....1-1.5g protein per lb, 2-3g per lb of complex carbs, and remainder in healthy fats...

on diet phase....eat about 1.2-1.5g per lb protein...slowly start cutting carbs by 50 or so every few weeks....keep fats fairly constant but take a fish oil supplement...

Ok, guess Ill just forget about my abs for a while then. Since Ive been working out I feel alot more hungry than before so no sweat of my back to chow down more! I love those cashew nuts but stopped cuz theyre loaded with calories.

How do you decide when its time to start cutting back your calories?
