Has anyone tried these with 1 20 rep sets? Are they worth trying?

Breathing squats is doing squats with a light weight and a very high number of reps, usually 20-30 reps. Some old bodybuilders like Tom Platz and Chris Dickerson used it to increase rib cage expansion..other bodybuilders like Arnold didn't need it at all as his rig cage was genetically big..I haven't tried it yet so I don't know if it is effective or not.

Uttiya, what I meant was doing only one set of breathing squats consisting of 20 reps as your entire squat workout. I read a little more on the net about them, and they are done like a normal squat except for a couple of points:

1) You do 20 reps (on the program I saw) of a weight which you can handle for 10 reps.
2) You take a really big breath before you begin the squat, then breath out hard as you lower.
3) You take as many breaths in between the reps as necessary. Like 2 to 3 or even more breaths in the 10 to 20 rep range.
