With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
Not sure what else to make the subject on this, but my entire life the little nobs on my wrists and ankles had always stuck out rather freakishly, I can't count the number of times I've gone in for a sprained wrist or ankle and have been immediately brought back to the cast room while they waited for the x-rays to come back, especially since when I injure myself instead of swelling up like a ballon my joints shrink in size only making the bones stick out more... That much is abnormal for the general public but is perfectly normal for me... My question is however since I've started losing weight, what I had thought before was just fat I'm now finding out is my ribcage and my hip bones, I can easily feel them even though I still have quite a bit of fat in those areas, they aren't sticking out yet, but I'm wondering if I do lose a few more pounds will they??? Do joints compress some when you lose the weight or is it just where they're at they stay? Believe me I don't like having a fat belly but I would hate to have any more bones sticking out on my body to me that is more disgusting than being overweight. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just another freaky thing my body's decided to toss me?
Hmmm I thought they were normal - I never looked to see if anyone else had them or not. I don't see how your bones would move but toning up your ab muscles should help your hip bones & ribs from not being so notiable
