Ok so just about everyone has heard that eggs are good protein or the egg whites atleast. It is ok to have one egg yolk per day.Supposedly the egg yolk is fatty but I read in a book that its actually something in the egg yolk that helps burn fat. Is that true???

There is nothing wrong with egg yellows. Another instance of media hype. If you prefer, a good thing many of us do is for instance with a 6 egg omlette, have 2 yolks, the rest all eggwhites.

Only issues I have with Yolks is it jacks your calorie intake up high and fat intake.

I do as BB1 stated and this allows me to keep the meal in a balance.

Examples

5 Egg Omelet 1 Yolk = 138 Calories 5 Fat 20 Protein
5 Egg Omelet 2 Yolks = 196 Calories 10 Fat 23 Protein
5 Egg Omelet 5 Yolk = 370 Calories 25 Fat 31 Protein

Now I don't just eat only Eggs in a meal maybe in a snake so in a meal I need room for 1/2 to 1 Cup of Oats, 1.5 to 2 Cup of Milk, Berries, A Fruit and some Protein Powder!

A couple of ways. Haven't you ever seen your mother do this? You can crack the egg in the middle, hold it over a bowl then separate it into two halves. Transfer the yolk from one shell half to the other allowing the white to empty into the bowl. Do this until you only have a yolk. Feed the yolk to a happy dog.

Or...crack all the eggs into a bowl and fish the yolks out with a spoon. A large slotted spoon works well for this, but any spoon will work. Again, feed your yolks to a happy dog.

Or...crack the egg directly into a slotted spoon, over a bowl and let the white fall through the cracks.

Of course, if the eggs are boiled, it is a no brainer.

Well, I have always heard that eggs yolks are good for a dogs coat. But I'm not an expert, so I looked it up and found this:

"Dogs' coats get shiny and they thrive on additions of raw or cooked egg yolks to their diet, so you don't have to feel guilty about throwing out part or all of the egg yolks to reduce your own cholesterol intake. (Note #4) Add yolks to the dogs' refrigerated leftovers container as you cook."

I have three dogs who wait in eager anticipation while I'm cracking my eggs. I serve the yolks on individual espresso saucers--one yolk per dog. For some reason, dog #4 turns up her nose...maybe she would prefer them cooked...I haven't tried. After all the anticipation,it takes them about 2 seconds to inhale the thing. You can alway put it in their food, I just do it this way because I am usually eating breakfast and they don't get fed until the evening.
