Well, I just weighed myself for the first time in like forever and I'm at 158, which is about the same as I weighed when I was 17. I've always been between 155 and 160. I've just never been a big fan of scales as an indicator. Anyway, I punched in my numbers for the BMI and BF% calculators and it came up with a 21 for BMI and an 8% BF. Are these accurate? It's hard to believe that I have only 8% bodyfat as I have a small squishy zone around my middle.
I don't think they are really accurate because it depends highly on how the fat in your body is distributed. For example, some people might have majority of their fat distribution in their legs (like me) and when i'd go enter my info in the bodyfat calcluators online, it would almost always ask for my waist measurement only - almost never about how big my thighs, arms, chest and calves are...
try using bodyfat calipers... they will give you a fairly accurate measurement. i got mine brand new from an ebay store(yea i'm a cheap guy) try typing in bodyfat calipers and you'll find amazing deals with very low shipping.
