Hi I was wondering whether it was a good idea to do barbell curls against a wall to isolate the bicep and build mass. Also are cable curl drop down sets a good idea, doing 8 reps on a heavy weight, then dropping the weight and doing 8 reps, drop the weight do eight reps and so on.

Cheers,
Freddie

Do whatever you want...but gains come from the kitchen....

for every 1in you wanan add to your arms...you'll have to gain about 10lbs of overall body mass.

So start squatting, rowing, benching, dealifting, and military pressing.

I wasn't really.. starting out I wanted big arms...Now I have them....but they get in the way alot. I can't clean much anymore...Cause I can't 'rack" the bar where it needs to be. Sucks too clean was my fav lift:(

How short are your forearms, and what grip do you use when you clean?

hmmm... how flexible are your wrists? Could you catch with your elbows a little lower? This is what I have to do, especially when push pressing or jerking. Could you maybe go wider too?

well cheerleading has enable them to be pretty strong and fairly flexable. Buti wear wraps when i clean anyways.

I have a 14in forearm at the widest part near the elbow....and a 19in bicep....so when my forearm is touchimng my bicep...in the clean posistion....theres about 3-4 in from my hand to my front delt.
