Building the back is Hard for me as no matter what i do and how heaviy i go it seem its all in vain. My lats have a 2-3 inch mass spred(thats from the front angle). My most use back execise is the lateral pull down. What is the best way two build up a good back spred?

1- wide grip chinups
2- deadlifts
3- rows with an olympic bar (one end in the corner weights on the other end)
4- bent over dumbell lat raises
Those are the four main excersises I use and am pleased with the results I have been getting with them.
(Sometime I will throw lat pulldowns in but the chins seem much more effective to me.)

pull ups for width......rows for thicknes.
Back is about concentration and squeezing the muscles your targeting.
