Oh and one more thing... If I don't work out my abs will it affect the growth of other body parts?

Instead of thinking of it as a week, think of it as a resting period. Just because seven days go by, doesn't mean you have to squeeze in a workout. You know what I mean? I'll work out my chest, then let it rest for four or five days, then do it again. What day of the week it happens to fall on seems irrelevant. However it is important to give yourself enough time to recover. That's what you should focus on.

I really see no point in doing it 2 times a week, for the avarage joes theres's no point in working out 6 days a week. Studies show for the avarage person a person who worked out 3 to 4 days a week, showed just as much strength and muscle size, as a person who did 6 and 7 day workouts who after a week or so lost strength.
Abbs are the core of yoru body, they help in lifts to stabilize the body.....atleast train them once a week just so you have some stabilization. heres a split try this
Mon chest/ back
bench press/ t bar rows (You choose reps)
dumbell inlince press/ pull downs or pull ups
flys( any kind)/cable rows
dumbell pull overs
tues legs/ biceps
squats
leg pressor hack squat
leg extension
calf raises
barbell curls
pretcher
hercules
hammer curls/ reverse curls
wed off
thurs shoulders
shrugs
lateral raises
military presses
arnold presses
bent over laterals( reverse flys)
fri "the core" and triceps
front squats( light)
deadlifts
hamstring curls
stiff legged deadlifts
skull crushers
rope press downs
dips
kickbacks
Every excercise has usually 4 sets except for the "main lift" i do 5.....this would be bench, deadlifts, squats, military......You do everything once a week, but the chest and back do " kinda get another day to work.........dips on shoulder day will work the chest prety good if you lean over a lil bit..........deadlifts work everything from lower back, to your traps.
