I think he is a very impressive man, who got into acting which ruined everything. Not because he is an actor, but because he was typed-cast for shoot-em up films. Cheers

I think his alright...I mean he did win 7 olympias but Lee Haney won 8...Dorian Yates
won 6..and who knows Ronnie Coleman might be on role here...
he also started out pretty young...at 15
that probably gave him head start back in the old days...but I think there are some really good new ones out there who will probably make those old timers look less massive than they were.

Hey..

you have to remember that Arnie is in his 50's.. it's almost impossible for him to maintain his size at that age - unhealthy as well to maintain the drug use.

Has anyone seen 6th day?? He was HUGE in it.. the biceps shot in the mirrow? WoW.

Hey guys,

for any bodybuilders out there, you will agree that Arnold made bodybuilding and brought it into the spotlight. His charisma, dedication and love for the sport really placed the roots for where it has come today. Some of you mentioned Lee and Dorian, but what did they do for the sport? They we VERY poor spokespersons.. what did they do outside of the bodybuilding scene to spread it to the world? Something to think about..

But yeah.. Arnold is truly BODYBUILDING.

BTW, did you guys do the quiz this week for Arnold? I got 10/10.. how about you guys?

I think he is a tremendous athlete and a great personality, of course he is my idol. I like mainly his chest and biceps a lot and that makes him a really, really, man and really big man. I adore his physique, and some times like to become like him. Anyway, god bless him, and i love him.

He's a good guy. I also agree with what he's done for the sport as well as bringing fitness into the spotlight.

He was the best body builder of his time, and he did a lot to bring bodybuiding into the public eye. He is one of my heros and i admire what he has accomplished in his life.

Get his book, it is really good "The New Encyclpedia of Modern Bodybuilding"

yep I know it was great to meet him, actually it was an accident.. my friend used to worked at that hotel, where Arnie was staying. One night before goin` out I went there to pic up my friend...and DA GOD (hee hee ) I just checked in..
I was like WOW...

I think he`s book is great although it could contain more info for beginners...but as he said stick with the basics.

Arnold helped inspire me and many others to start training. No matter what you think about the man, you have to admire his ability to focus and acheive. As for his career in acting I think you can always count on one thing even if he has "lost his shine" Which I don't think he has.
He said it best "I'll be back!" Don't count a man like that out. Ever!
