I just wonder how much have Arnie's muscles shrunk in 2005...I am sure that some of you know that per cent...when you stop training on top. However Arnie is not so bad as to his physical appearance. Not massive...but still sign of hard workout experience years back.So I thank you for every answers in advance.-------------- ARI KJP |

I think he started training again...just to be in good physical shape...I remember I saw a picture of him and his family at the beach in Us magazine and he looked overweight and generally horrible...so since then I think he started to workout again since he's in the public so much and he generally has an image to maintain...I am not sure anyone could tell you a specific drop off in muscle...but there's a drop off in testosterone by about 1% after the age of 30 or so in males...so then it's that much harder to maintain the muscle or build new...the skin also becomes less elastic with age so the overall look of the body gets worse as well...but that's part of normal aging...and he looks considerably better than most people his age I would think...he's nearing 60...hope this helps

Do anyone know of Schwarzenegger's workout in terminator 3 and his daily workout as the governor of California.I am sure he still workout...it's important for him...and how tall is he is daily news...so many different figures of that and did anyone ever measure his shoulder to shoulder measurement.-------------- ARI KJP |

he's 6'2...
I think he actually did very moderate workouts of 10-12 reps...I read it in flex a while back...it was way off his mr olympia training intesity... yes at close to 60..his testosterone is way down from his peak...and he took tiny amounts of steroids in his prime compared to today....like 5mg....a far cry from the dosages of today ....at 6'2 he was only about 230-240....now it's about 300+ at this height....heh....plus the drugs were perfectly legal in his days....so there wasn't a negative stigma attached to it...

negative stigma?? dont understand that, but im sure there would be still some sorta side effect from it.. anyway apikka his workouts where crazy very very high volume some days when he was in a stale he would pick the exercise eg squats and just squat for hours and eat a massive meal and i mean massive, but his "usual" workouts r damn freaky big
but u gotta train freaky to be freaky..(weather its intensity or volume.. |

Looking at arnold and the bb's of today it seems back in his day they had a more of a natural look not to the extreme that some of the guys of today.like ronnie with his huge gut. Arnold's genetics had a lot to do with his success. JMO

negatvie stigma...meaning it wasn't illegal hence it wasn't considered bad....and you weren't looked down upon because of using it....
I also think our government should have better things to worry about than steroids...to me it's an utter joke....although I don't condone steroid use...but under doctor's guidance in small dosages many of the steroids are safer than some over the counter drugs...tom prince for example almost killed his kidneys not by the pages of steroids he was using but by OTC pain killers......and I think Smoking/Obesity/Heart Disease/People with drinking problem(they are all related)...should be of bigger concern to our government...when hundreds of thousands of people die yearly because of combination of these facors....and our government is making a big deal over a few steroid death(because some idiot gets his hands on some and overdoses...or doesn't use them properly...or never seen a doctor...)....the media and government is at arms...it's one big joke... I agree that arnold had a more natural look...ronnie is a monster....It will be interesting to see what happens when Olympia is raided by the Feds....like Arnold Classic Last year...lol

I, m with menace on this. I think steroids should be controled of course but as menace said so should many things. I have been tempted to go down the steroid path myself but what stops me is that I dont want to ruin my body for one and I dont want steroids to get all the credit for my acheivements. Arnold was not trying to cheat as he said it was an experiment and has proved very valuble to people like us, if steroids were found to be some wonder drug that got you big and kept you healthy we would be glad that they did it. Arnold is an icon to me. I reckon people uoght to get off his case.

In my opinion Arnold had no any good abs in terminator 3...but when comparing terminator 2....He has still good abdominals...is it so the elder you grow the more difficult it is to train abs...good ones?-------------- ARI KAUKO JUHANI |

It's not more difficult to train them. It is more difficult to lose the fat that covers them, as we age.-------------- Scales are for dead weight: We are not dead yet! Still trying to find out how to do the Hollywood Free Press. Ivan carivan@freetrainers.com Montreal Canada |

Interesting question.Did anyone ever measure Schwarzenegger's shoulder to shoulder measurement...I have found on net...for example Steve Reeves who had 23 inches shoulders.I am interesting to know whether someone has some news. But if I see Arnold on tv os so He does not look so broad among other people...sure jacket size can't more than 46-48.-------------- ARI KAUKO JUHANI |
