I was wondering if there are any REAL personal trainers out there that can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've been working out all of my adult life, and have even managed a few health clubs, but something isn't the same anymore. Here is my work out routine- two days a week I do about 30 minutes of cardio, legs, and end with lower back and abs. the other two days that I work out, I do upper body and cardio. about 30 minute of cardio, and then weights. Four sets of each at about 85% of my work load. chest, shoulders, upper back, dips, biceps, push ups, and triceps. Recently, this work out regime has left my really fatigued. Can someone please tell me if they have encountered this problem as well? If so, what can you do to not feel dead the day after your work out?
P.S. I'm also trying to eat sensibly, although I don't see it as a diet. Mostly restricting my carb intake.

Well, from what I read I would say to perform your cardiovascular training AFTER weight training, IF YOU HAVE TO. Or even better, perform cardio on days you do not workout. It sounds like you may very well be overtraining.

You're going to have to be more specific. Have you been fatigued outside the gym either, maybe been a little lower in mood? Those would be signs of overtraining. My guess is that you're not eating anough to sustain your activity level. I know that's happened to me before. What are the specfics on your diet?
