Im currently on my 2nd 12 week mass program, only this time im doing cardio every morning as I've got a holiday coming up (and their showing the rocky films on BBC1 at the Mo). My problem is I get up at six, either do half an hour of swimming or running. Then go to work and hit the gym around 8ish. By the time I get home, shower etc, its around 12, and I can never get to sleep until around 1! Another thing is I have to bunch all my workout days into the week ie Mon-Thurs, and get alot of rest at the weekends tho. My diets not bad, just basically eat whenever I can 5x per day usually.

Does anyone think im overtraining by ramming all this into a small part of the week?

You should try to get in more sleep than that on workout days.. Your body needs to heal and a lot of that happens when your asleep.. As for the workout if you picked 4 days on the Ft workout schedule then shifted the days around that isn't so bad.. I usually move my rest days around to fit into my schedule just remember that some muscles you worked a day or two earlier might still be recovering so you might not be able to workout as well if you had given them more time to recover (like if I do shoulders I usually avoid doing something like flyes the next day)... not too sure as i'm never nearly as pressed for time as you seem to be.. maybe rp or nina would know...

Jonpullen, how do you feel? If you feel tired or you don't quite feel refreshed the next day, then you're probably overtraining. Your body will usually try to tell you if something's wrong so listen to it very closely!

Were you happy with the results of the 12-week mass program? I'm on my 2nd 8-week program (back-to-back) and was very happy with the first 8 weeks...

Yea the first program was great.. I think the second is even better. With the added cardio, and sound diet, the spare tyre is just falling off!! I do get tired during the day although Im sure Im getting enough carbs and vit's. Its made more difficult by the fact that Im using hydroxycut, so my energy levels do go up and down alot.

I think my plan is to get a couple of hours extra sleep, and cut down a little on the cardio once im happy with belly!

Thanks all.

Yup, those thermogenics will usually give you that affect. Wait 'till you get off of it.
