I have read on these boards that people should not do cardio on the same day as resistance/weight training. But I do them anyway since I am not trying to gain mass and my main goal is to lose weight. I do weight training around 12-1pm for an hour then I have to get back to work and I do cardio after work which is about 6pm.

The thing I am curious about is shouldn't I be tired compared to none weight days? But I have been doing my best cardio sessions consistantly on the weight training day or sometimes the day after (I have been upping the intensity on the stairmaster for past 4 weeks from lv5 to it's now lv10. All my level-up day has been one of these two days sofar). Could this be because of the protein drink I consume after weight training session? FYI, I train 2 days a week and I do cardio 6 days a week. I have one completely off day a week.
