I'm trying to get a lot of protein from foods but its really expensive and can be fattening. I eat lean meats but even leans meats are only so lean. Some of the tastier leaner meats are also expensive. I love chicken breast and its good for you but unless you get the crappy process/fried frozen kind it's expensive.
I've looked at the list of foods for a bodybuilder but doesn anyone have any other suggestions?

egss, milk, cottage cheese.. protein doesnt just come from meats. these 3 are cheap and very healthy

try buying things in bulk.. you can always freeze em, and you'll have them to eat sooner or later..

Tuna is a great idea. 35 grams of protein per can. You can also try a meal replacement bar or powder. That will only take up one meal a day though. Don't use this throughout the entire day. As you most likely know, food is a much better source of protein than the powders and bars.

the dominator. What do you mean you can buy it like paper clips? Do you mean that you can just buy a crap load?

Pro-rated Protein Pwoder at Costco in US is 19.87$...90 servings of 20grams protein

9.99$ for 24 bars of 30 grams protein each....simply called 'Protein' also sold at many Costcos

Cottage cheese is amazing in terms of protein in a serving...something liek 14 grams

Milk is good, eggs, try turkey or chicken burgers...(cheaper and these meats have low fat content)

PriceClub? it's a similar place...it's like huge warehouses....where you buy stuff in bulk or generic and which is usually much cheaper....you jsut need to buy a yearly membership which is like 50$....
