Keep in mind that if you are new to weight training that during the first 4-8 weeks(it varies from individual to individual) the body goes through a neuromuscular learning. In other words your nervous system is adapting to the changes imposed by weight training, which is why you won't see the results but yet you will get stronger. Be patient, if you are doing your stuff right the results will come.

Well first, we can't critique your diet if we don't know what you are eating. Give us some more information and we will be better able to help you out.

Mohan, why don't you fill out your showcase profile so that we can know more about you, like your goals, sex, height, weight, etc. I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs and eat way more than you in a day, so I'm going to guess you can't be too much smaller than that, so you really need to eat more food, more often. Check out FTs nutrition program and see what it says about your targets for protein, calories, etc. You need about 1 g of protein for each lb of bodyweight, you also need to eat at least 4-5 meals a day.

Try taking your whey with water right after your workout. It will get into your muscles faster. You can take your whey with milk before bedtime (it will process slower through your muscles while your body is totally relaxed).
