Hello again , tomorrow (monday) i am starting my mass building program and as for my diet , i need to get in 5100 calories it says , should i go with this amount or should it be less or more ? since i put my metabolic rate as 'high' it upped it by 1000 calories , i eat every 2 tgo 3 hours everyday , healthy foods , so basically i was just worried about taking in too many calories, i am trying to gain mass and build muscle, i am 6'3 and 204 , if that helps.

5,000 seems high to me, I'd start at 4,000 or 4,500 for 2 weeks and see how you're gaining. It always comes down to trial and error though.

Thanks , last week i was averaging 4000 and no gains , i stayed at 203 to 205 all week , no matter what. i think i willl try at 4500 and see what that gives instead up jumping to 5000 .

Wow. We as women often complain about the fact that naturally our bodies want to hold onto more fat, making it more difficult for us to lose weight - but I can't even imagine trying to consume 4000 calories per day, let alone more in order to gain....

Sometimes I am so busy that I have a hard time getting 2000 calories a day in. Eating is almost a full time job for you guys trying to gain!!!

Best of luck!
