What level are you at, and what is your current size?
If you are already big enough for the position, then you will want to focus on strength AND power
(power being the combination of speed and strength) which can be achieved through olympic style lifting and speed drills...
However, if you are undersized, then you would probably want to do mainly a hypertrophy program to gain size (while doing plyometrics to keep your quickness up.
