Hi, i seperated my shoulder in 06 playing hockey (got checked from behind and went into boards shoulder first) they said i had a ac separation here is a site about it http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/shouldersurgery/a/separation.htm.
ever since then it has not been the same, most exercises hurt it does any1 know any tips or exercises that would help it out? most shoulder exercises i try hurt it and so does a bench press or anything that makes me put my arm(with the injured shoulder) in the air and bend it back like a tricep exercise

Have you tried working with a Physical Therapist? AC separations take a long time to heal because of the decreased vascularity of the tendons and ligaments involved, muscles heal much faster.
Good Luck
