Does anyone else ever feel like throwing up when do ab work?
I work out my abs hard 2x a week and always feel like throwing up. However; I only stop when my abs get that burning sensation and I physically can't do another rep...but, I'm never sore the next day. Is that normal?

I'm rarely sore from abs either and I do about the same as you.
Never nauseus since I quit drinking.

taurie maybe something you are eating before your workout may cause this. Im not sure I have never had that feeling before. And if your not feeling like you are getting any results from the work out.. try to alternate the types of ab workout you are doing dont let your muscles adjust to the same workout. also if your abs are fit, try adding some weight with your crunches for some added resistence.

Charlie, are you suggesting I'm doing ab work after I've had a few? Or, are you suggesting I quit drinking all together. I only drink 2 or 3 beers a week...and it's usually Micholobe Ultra, or Amstel lght. I love beer, I don't know if I could give it up all together:( Guess, I'll have to figure out which is more important...priorities...priorities! ennie meanie minie moe.
Wrongway, I usually eat 1/4c oats with 1/2 soy before I head out to the gym.
I don't know if it makes a difference but, abs are the last thing I do in the hour that I'm there.
I don't have very much fat on my stomach so you can see my baby muscles. However; I do feel that my abs are my weakest muscles.
