They say that only beginners can add muscle during cut phases. What if I don't normally work a part of my body, my forearms or legs for example, and start intensifying my workouts to include these parts during a cut phase, will they then build muscle or remain unchanged?
I was just told on a seperate post to only do primary exercises like bench and squat. I'm on a cut phase and haven't worked out regularly in about 3 months. I am interested to know what would happen if I did so supplementary exercises. I can't imagine nothing would happen because then it would have the same result as if I was actually doing nothing. Yet that's the idea I'm getting.
