As i'm starting this 12-wk challenge today it states in the training journal that i was given that to get the most out of the 12-wks and to get results i would have to go 5x/wk. That's 5 TIMES PER WEEK!!! As i'm fairly new to this gym going i'm hesitant at this and am not sure if my body can take it. Basically i'm doing 3x cardio and 2x weights (mon-fri with weekends off).... my question is....
Is my body going to handle this????
thx

-------------- Dont limit ur challenges
CHALLENGE your limits
This training split should be fine as it allows for each session to be shorter than with a traditional beggining program. The greatest factor is to level of commitment that your going to be able to devote to the program. Since most begginers have trouble finding time &/or motivation for a 5 day aweek program you might find better compatibility wise with training 3 days per week & incorperating a combination of weight training a cardio in each session. Either way the results & demands on your body will be simillar as long as overall volume remains constant on a per week basis. In the end it comes down to which program suits your lifestyle better.
