Many people today give suggestions to a wide auidence of what we sould eat. But the thing is, everyone is different. Like their is no same snowflake, or design of the hand, their is no same EXACT person when it comes to matabolsim and how it affects your body. This is based on genetics, for instance, if your sweeden, your ansestors probably relied on goat milk and chese while the Chinese relied on rice and vegietables and Eskimo/Alaskan people relied on Seal. As you know, everyone is different regarding to matabilism types.

There is a good book called, "The METABOLIC TYPING DIET" written by WILIIAM L. WOLCOTT. It's a very good book. You first take a self test of over 65 choice questions and based on your feedback, it will tell you what matabolic type you are and what types of foods you should eat. This is the best guide to:
1. permannent weight loss and optimum health
2. high energy and peak preformance (what I am working on)
3. preventing and reversing disease
4. Staying young at any age.

I think this was a VERY good book! It helped me improve my knowledge of metabolisim and understanding that everyones body type is different and needs different specific needs. And I am now trying some of the food's it reccomends for me and I have noticed a peak preformance in energy and more of a refreshed feeling. In this book, it tells you what you need by this self test. It would like to reccomend it to anyone....You can find it out at a library

:)
