Hi there,

I just started my program yesterday. I am in the Glute & Thigh program as well as the Wide Shoulders.

Is the straight leg deadlift the same as the romanian dead lift?

Can someone suggest an alternative to lunges. I feel soreness on the side of my knee. I have done walking lunges in the past and did not experience this soreness.

hey..
4 the 2nd Q, lunges works your thighs as u know..
you can do it with a pair of dumbells or by using a barbell but if you still feel it isn't helping much when you vary the lung just try some other quad exercise..

Thanks tt_rocker. I guess I'll stick to the lunges that work for me and the romanian lifts for now. I was just curious for the lunges if on the step back it had some added benefit that forward lunges don't have, I'll work up to those. My poor legs are pretty weak but that's just for now! :D
