I am kind of confused about my caloric intake...I am 16, female and pretty active. I get about an hour of exercise, 6 days a week, a combination between lifting, cardio and stretching (but mostly cardio) and I figure I burn about 300-400 calories through exercise per day. Is my caloric intake different than someone who is older than me? What should mine be? Thank you for the advice, in advance!!! :)

Sunshine, have you tried looking at the nutrition section here at FT for a recommendation? To answer your question, that depends on the person older than you. If they are just as active, then their caloric requirement could match yours.

yepepr
for example i should be taking in about 4300+ calories a day (thnx to FT charts and such)
if you go over this (your limit), then u are not keeping with in limits.
The amount of calories each person needs is based on your height, weight, metabolism as well. So someone older may need more, or less, alot of factors contribute to this.
