i am supposed to start doing vertical bench crunches. it dosen't have a picture to describe it.....just a verbal explanation. so i am a bit confused about how to do these. it also states needing "equipment" which i do not have access to. anything i can do similar to this excercise without equipment ?

Hey duzzy, a vertical bench basically has two armrests about shoulder width apart and pad to rest your back on and, I suppose, stabilize you. So basically, you are elevating yourself with your arms and pulling your knees up towards your chest. You could substitute it with another exercise that works the same area, just look under ft Exercise Resources, Muscle Targeting.

If you go to the gym, you may see a lot of people do dips on this machine as well, I know I do. You can also ask one of the gym personnel.
