Two weeks in now and doing great. Lost 10 lbs already and am bulking up. I follow the weights program in here for Mass gain and follow this with a 40 minute run on the treadmill to shift the fat. I just wondered if the cardio work I am doing after a weights session is hindering muscle gain in any way? It is certainly shifting the fat an incredible amount but I'd like to know if the energy required for my run prevents muscle repair and growth?

Muscle gain is a function of eating and resting, and not additional exercises you do after weight training. You can exhaust yourself through your workouts but if you get adequate rest and nourishment, you won't have any problems.

Good luck!
