Hello. I'm new here and just found this site this week (looks great BTW). I'll be starting my very first workout program in my life on Monday (using your exercise schedules :-) I'm 32 yr. olds, 5'11" at 135 lbs - I've been skinny all my life and can't gain weight (I've noticed a bunch of people here with similiar experience). I want to workout to gain some weight and get in shape with more muscle (my golf game needs it :-). One problem - my cholesterol is high (LDLs, the bad stuff, is 182 - total cholesterol is 245). I keep reading on the message boards that to gain weight and muscle, you must eat ALOT of protein, such as meats, eggs, etc. - basically everything the doctor told me NOT to eat because of my high cholesterol. Is this a catch-22? How can you mesh the two? How can you gain weight/muscle while trying to lower your cholesterol count? Thanks for any advice. -- John
