I started training about ayear ago.my chest development is funny compared to the other guys in the gym. It's easier for everyone else to get the outer chest and the lower chest. But I seem to develope the inner chest easier than most guys in the gym. I've tried wide grips bench presses and dips but can barely see results.actualy there is muscle mass there but it has no shape or definition like my inner chest.could someone pls help?

I would probably try some dumbell flyes or push-ups.. if you goto ft's muscle targeting section there is a list of exercises that are supposed to help you target the outer/middle area of your chest...

Can you fill out a profile so we can see what you are up to? Also, how long have you been lifting? What is your workout like? I would sign up for a mass program through FT and target the chest. I have seen tremendous improvements all around my chest, even after working out with various other programs for the better part of 14 years. Start a program, stick with the recommended diet and I can all but guarantee you see improvement.

Compound movements is what you need, I beleive. Follow ischjli's advice and sign up for the 12 week mass program. I am in my 7th week and am getting great results from it. Good Luck

i've been training on/off for about 2 yrs but really got serious about6 months back.people have been complimenting how big i look and that i have the mass (esp in the delts, legs and arms region) for a bodybuilder maybe because that i tend to gain mass easily.what is bothering me really is that my inner pecs looks way better than my outer pecs.I've been targeting my outer pecs for 3 months, there is still progress but it is really slow.I try to follow what other guys are doing to grow the outer pecs easierbut still.....here's what i've been doing for the past 2 months. all to failure: - bench presses -dumbell bech presses -decline presses -decline flyes. for the 3rd month: -added dips. thanx guys for the advice..I'll try and follow the routines and i have signed up for the chest mass programme.maybe i am not patient enough...and i am just being ridiculous. there are improvements but reaching it(my goals)are just slow.this time around i'll be patient and stick to the programme. thanx

I noticed from your list that you don't do any inclined bench work...is there a reason for that? I think that could contribute to the problem...

First of all i'd like to clarify the mistyped line >>that i have the mass (esp in the delts, legs and arms region) for a bodybuilder. what i mean is "of" a bodybuilder. thanx rpacheo but i have a small ligament problem in my shoulders. And after doing inclines they hurt a lot!I used to do incline presses ,welll they helped to give details to my upper pecs. Not exactly what I am looking for though. But it does give my pecs a better look. thanx.
