I'm not sure I have ever had it right on the terminology that goes along with the Tri's. I found excelent info. in the ft exercise resources that should help me if I want to target one head more than the other 2 but I don't think I've got the names right. Would someone mind to set the record straight for me? The Lateral Head- is that the one under the arm or is it the one closest to the outer bicep? At least on me I can only see 2 parts of my Tri's- the one closest to the bicep and the one under my arm. Where's the 3rd one at? I'm lost here folks. Would yall mind a couple of pointers?

Since I can't seem to get exrx.net to load i'll post the second best one..

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/triceps.htm

The picture at the top should help you figure out how your triceps are laid out on your arm and it has some explainations of the muscles on the page.. hope it helps.. although exrx is better.. but it appears their down for upgrades or something of the sort...

Thanks the diagram helped a lot except for the Medial Head. From the diagram I couldn't tell- it looked like the Medial head was deep in the arm. I'm guessing here, when people flex and you can see that horseshoe or "V" shape- is the medial between the 2 that make up the V (right above the elbow)?
