soreness after working out

usually when i work out, my muscles don't feel sore after. does this mean i haven't worked out hard or long enough?

the rule of thumb to follow is to be sore. Here goes,

- fatigue type soreness right after workout
- muscle recovery soreness aprox 24 hours after workout

If you are not sore after workouts, then that may be a sign that your muscles have adapted and your progress is minimal.

Try using full range of motion, squeezing and stretching on every set. Basically proper form is KEY.
