I bought the body for life book and it seems like it is overtraining. Here is the workout plan...
mon-weight upper body
tue-cardio
wed-weight lower
thurs-cardio
fri-weight
sat-cardio
sun-rest
Doesn't that seem like a bit much? How do people get such great results? And is it possible to actually lose a little bit of fat but gain more muscle than fat loss?

Actually, this sounds about right...3x cardio supplemented by 3x weight training. If you like, you can move 1 or 2 of the cardio sessions to the weight training ones, provided they are done at different times of the day.

Losing fat and gaining muscle is hard work!! It takes dedication, perserverance and willpower. Good luck!
