I signed up for ft's mass and strength program and I was wondering if 3 days per week will be enough to make about 25 pounds gains by 12 weeks. I take creatine and protein and i get plenty of calories.

Welcome to ft.
Are you doing the 12 week mass? or the 8 week program? Did you select 3 days per week? When gaining mass.. yes 3 days is enough.. I prefer 4. Train heavy, use compound movements with low reps. But ft has designed a program which will incorporate those aspects.
It is impossible to gain 25 pounds of muscle in 12 weeks.. if you are highly gifted with great genetics then you will gain maybe 5-10 pounds of lean muscle mass. The rest will be FAT and WATER.
Good Luck

I find that a little difficult to believe. I have seen soooooooooo many people who have done things very similiar to it. I know people who have taken that guys program and made very similiar gains. WITHOUT STEROIDS! Just because you can't do something doesn't mean it is impossible to everyone. I know I am not perfect but I beleive it is possible at least.

There is no need to get upset, we are here to help.
No one said that because you can't do something that it is impossible for anyone else to do it.. anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
If you are so confident that you can make these gains then why question it? Hope you gain your 25 pounds in 12 weeks, that would be great and I'd love to learn your secret.
I as well as many other members are surely curious about this goal, so can you upload before and after pictures so we can see the 25 pounds of gains? thx
Good Luck.

I recognize the dude from the website (www.skinnyguy.net) ... he was a finalist in one of those 12-wk transformation contests a few years ago promoting EAS (or a similar company). Likely experimented with prohormones ... they aren't in his "list" of failed fad supplements. Could account for his gains.
Have to agree w/ the above posts. Put in your dues @ the gym, don't overtrain, and be patient! Just my humble opinion ...
