hey every one...

need to ask.. I go to fitness pluse a gym by my house and my personal triener is a big guy who has been working out for 10 years... he gave me this programe (Mass and size) and it looks like this:

1st Day : Uper body(Chest, Back, Bicep, Tricep)
2nd Day : Lower body(Legs, Shoulders)
3rd Day : OFF
* Abs every work out day

So i tried this programe for 3 weeks now i think... but after i talked to few other guys at the gym they think i'm over training my self.. i take creatine on and off and i take all the vitamins and minerals i need, as well as a great diet and lots of sleep.. So would you think i'm over traing my self? any sujestion would help....

today i have to work uper body but i still feel a little sore in my arms and chest.. does this mean i need to take another day off? am i not supose to feel sore when its my work out day?...

THanks alot for your time

Seanyboy,

Your 2nd day says lower body but you have shoulders listed. (?) It looks like you are having 2 rest days per week which is sufficient. How long have you been working out? Only 3 weeks would explain why you still have soreness. How long are you working out each day? Give it time. Have you tried an FT program yet?? They are set up to allow rest days and you won't kill yourself in the process!! Stick with a program and you'll see results.

Good point ken... If you feel burnt and also like you are dragging yourself to the gym it might be time to back off a little. Hope your workouts are going well seany. :)

I agree with cool, if you feel that you cannot take it that day you either take off or go very easy on yourself. Good Luck!!!
